The Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation and Analysis
Provides teaching and research infrastructure in ion, electron, laser and light microscopy and microanalysis to universities, state government and local industry. The facilities of the CMCA are located at two separate sites - UWA Crawley Campus and QEII Medical Centre - with the main office located at the Crawley Campus. We are core partners in the Nanoscale Characterisation Centre, WA (NCC) and are the WA node of the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Research Facility (AMMRF). EVENTS:

CAMECA 1280 Ion Probe Officially Launched

The CAMECA 1280 Ion Probe, an AMMRF Flagship Instrument, was officially launched on Friday 28 August 2009 by Senator the Hon. Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. More information on the IMS 1280 can be found here.
