Murdoch & UWA Cell Sorting Facility subscriptions Not applicable Available to Murdoch University only (see here for details)

*1 includes training & access with independent operation at normal levels
- paid by all internal research users including CMCA staff and visitors. Consumables are limited and any use above these limits will result in additional charges to the researcher.

*2 as per (1) + limited academic support for planning, preparation & data evaluation. If significant guidance and assistance is desired, co-supervision of the student by a relevant CMCA academic should be considered.

*3 an honours subscription is valid for the honours period only and does not include ANY consumables (eg. grids, chemicals) - these will be charged to the supervisor.

*4 facilities operated by CMCA general staff for untrained internal users with low demand - needs <5h per annum

*5 facilities operated by trained user + administration fee $40 per month when usage is recorded for that month

*6 Operation of the cell sorter at the QEII facility requires CMCA staff support and is charged at $80/h to Users without a subscription.

*7 NCC Curtin University Users are individually charged at a rate determined by Curtin University.

Notes:

- All external, publicly funded researchers, can access CMCA instrumentation at a fixed rate, as dictated by the AMMRF. For more information about these rates, click here.

- Registration is valid for 12 months from the date of activation (ie Mar 1, 2007 - 28 Feb 2008) except Honours students, which is valid for the honours period only.

- These rates do not apply to the CMCA SIMS Instruments. Click here for SIMS Facility rates and access information.

- Access to cryopreparation facilities is charged at an additional $5 / sample for CMCA subscribers and $10 / sample for others.

- Access to sample preparation facilities (excluding sample coating, microtomes) are not included in the hourly charge and will be an additional charge.
