AMMRF Access Rates

External Publicly funded research rates to access CMCA facilities:

These rates reflect the CMCA's commitment to the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Research Facility (AMMRF)


As of 1 July publicly funded researchers have the same pricing arrangements at all AMMRF nodes for instrument rates.

1.  $44 per hour for flagship instruments (at CMCA our flagship instruments are the nanoSIMS and soon to be purchased Cameca 1280 ion probe).  Note there are minimum blocks of 12 hrs & all projects from the onset should be discussed with the nanoSIMS Manager, Dr Matt Kilburn, BEFORE seeking research funding.

2.  $99 per hour for all non-flagship instruments which form part of the National Facility (at CMCA all major instruments ie SEM, TEM, Confocal)

Non Publicly funded rates (industry) are $132 per hour and are currently under review - new rates will be set for 2008.

All prices include GST.

Please note these rates do not apply to UWA CMCA internal access subscriptions, UWA CMCA internal hourly rates or WACM subscriptions
