Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation and Analysis

When presenting or publishing research that has involved the use of CMCA facilities, you are required to include a statement acknowledging this, plus any CMCA collaboration or technical support.

Please use this text on all posters and publications that have resulted from use of CMCA facilities:

"The authors acknowledge the facilities, scientific and technical assistance of the Australian Microscopy & Microanalysis Research Facility at the Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation & Analysis, The University of Western Australia, a facility funded by The University, State and Commonwealth Governments."

The staff of the CMCA frequently make significant contributions to the research carried out by CMCA users. They can have an important scientific role through the planning and realisation of experiments, through the analysis and interpretation of data, or through full collaboration in the research. When this occurs, the staff member must be included as a co-author on papers.

*Copies of all publications that result from use of CMCA instrumentation should be forwarded as a PDF file to the CMCA office*
