FRIDAY PM
REGISTRATION (11am - ):
Registration for the workshop will open at 11am in The
University Club. A light lunch and refreshments will be served
from 12-1pm.
NANOSIMS SHOWCASE (1pm - 5pm):
Representatives will be presenting NanoSIMS data from their
laboratories, highlighting examples of research data from the
different labs around the world.
CAMECA WORKSHOP DINNER (6:30pm - late):
The Cameca dinner will be at the Matilda Bay
Restaurant, which is a short stroll from UWA. Pre dinner
drinks will begin at 6:30pm, followed by a 3 course meal.
SATURDAY (ALL DAY)
INTRODUCTION & FUNDAMENTALS OF NANOSIMS (9:30am -
12:30pm)
This session is essential for those wanting to know what
NanoSIMS is and what considerations must be taken into account
when designing experiments, preparing samples and analysing
data. This session will include data and image processing
presentations.
TECHNICAL AND OPERATING PARAMETERS (1:30pm -
5pm)
Saturday afternoon will be technical discussions. This
session is largely directed at operators and users of NanoSIMS
instruments who are interested in optimising the technical and
working parameters of the instrument.
DRINKS AND FINGER FOOD (5pm - 6pm)
Drinks and finger food will be provided (likely to be needed
after the technical discussions...!) at the Uniclub at the
conclusion of the afternoon session.
SUNDAY
SOCIAL (1:00pm - 6:00pm):
A social sightseeing tour has been organised for Sunday

MONDAY (ALL DAY)
RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS (9:00am - 12:00pm):
This session will feature presentations from researchers who
have used NanoSIMS in their research. The application of
NanoSIMS to real research questions across all fields of
research will be demonstrated.
I WANT TO USE NANOSIMS FOR... (1:00pm -
2:30pm):
This session will feature presentations from researchers who
are looking to use NanoSIMS in their research. These
presentations will lead into the afternoon discussion
sessions.
DISCUSSION FORUM (3:00pm - 4:30pm):
Several groups will break out into discussion forums for the
afternoon session.
WORKSHOP WRAP AND SUNDOWNER (4:30pm -
6:00pm):
The Workshop will conclude with a Sundowner at the University Club.
TUESDAY (ALL DAY)
NanoSIMS tutorials - hands on instrument training and
operation designed specifically for current/future operators
and technicians. To express an interest in attending these
