Travel Bursaries

Funding to support attendance at the International NanoSIMS Workshop is available. You can apply for more than one bursary, provided you meet the eligibility criteria, but only one bursary will be awarded to any one person. We are grateful to our many sponsors who have made these bursaries possible.

All international bursary applications are closed.

All bursary applicants must also register for the workshop.


- ARC Nanotechnology Network - Student / ECR Bursaries

The ARCNN are providing awards to support travel and accommodation costs of students and early career researchers (submitted PhD within 5yrs) attending the workshop. Several awards of up to $1000 are available. Applicants must be Australian and must be either a student or an ECR. Preference will be given to members of ARCNN and/or people undertaking nanotechnology-related research. CLOSED.


- Institute of Advanced Studies - Australian Bursary

An award of up to $500 is available from The Institute of Advanced Studies at The UWA to support registration, travel and accommodation costs of an Australian researcher, outside of WA, attending the workshop. To be eligible you must hold a research / technical position at an Australian University or publically funded organisation (eg CSIRO). To apply for an IAS Australian bursary. CLOSED.


- Institute of Advanced Studies - International Bursary

An award of up to $1500 is also available from The Institute of Advanced Studies at The UWA to support registration, travel and accommodation costs of an International researcher attending the workshop. Applicants must hold a research / technical position. Preference will be given to technical staff / ECR researchers. CLOSED.


- ATSE International Science Linkages Programme - International Bursaries

The Australian Technological Sciences and Engineering ISL-SAP Programme is providing several awards to support travel and accommodation costs of international researchers attending the workshop. Preference will be given to ECR's / students / postdocs / technicians. CLOSED.
